16-Time American Grand Slam Champion Slapped With a Hefty $10000 Fine Alongside Another Tennis Veteran for Promoting Betting
Mardy Fish and Bob Bryan have been fined for their actions on social media. The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) questioned and fined them for misuse of their social Media presence.
Bob Bryan and Mardy Fish were fined $10000 each for promoting gambling operator DraftKings during the U.S. Open. They also received a four-month ban. Bryan is the current US Davis Cup captain. USA lost to Italy in the semi-finals.
Bob Bryan won 23 Grand Slam titles and a Gold and Bronze medal in the Olympic games. Mardy Fish won six ATP trophies and four finals in Masters series. He won a silver medal at the Athens Olympics in 2004.
