2021 Breeders’ Cup Distaff Contenders, Odds and Post Position: Private Mission

The profiles on the horses in the $2 million Breeders’ Cup Distaff will be updated following the post-position draw on Monday, Nov. 1 (5:30 p.m. ET). Baoma Corporation paid $750,000 for Private Mission at Fasig-Tipton”s 2019 Saratoga Select yearling sale. Private mission has won four of her five career starts in her care of Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert.

The Breeders’ Cup Distaff takes place on Saturday, November 6th at Del Mar. Private Mission is the only horse in the Distaffe that has won all of her starts. She is trained by Bob Baffert and is on a three-race win streak. The Distaf is 1 1/8 miles and she has only won at 1.1 miles or shorter.

Private Mission won the Torrey Pines Stakes in August. Baffert has won 17 Breeders’ Cup races. His runners have earned $35,985,000. Flavien Prat has ridden 46 Breeder”s Cup mounts with three winners. Baoma Corporation has had four starters and one winner.
