2022 Week 7 Preview: Memphis Tigers @ East Carolina Pirates

Memphis lost to Houston 33-32 last Saturday. East Carolina was beaten 24-9 by Tulane last weekend. The Pirates are off to a 1-2 start in AAC play. Memphis and ECU met in the Liberty Bowl last November.

Seth Henigan is one of the top quarterbacks in FBS this year. Memphis is without a 100-yard rusher or receiver this season. The team has a lot of skill players. It has won the last two games in a row. This year's team is split between three running backs. Jay Ducker, Asa Martin, and Brandon Thomas have 225, 223, 221 and 221 yards on the year, respectively.

East Carolina is looking to improve its record after a defeat to Tulane. The team needs to cut down on the turnovers and improve the running game to win the game.
