2022 World Series: Schedule, how to watch, odds

The 2022 World Series starts this week. The Philadelphia Phillies are taking on the Houston Astros. Philadelphia won their third championship in 1980 and 2008. Houston won the 2017 World Championship. Last year's World series ended on November 2. The latest a World Game has been played is Nov. 4. It happened in 2001 and again in 2009. There was a lockout that delayed opening day. This year the game will be played on October 31.

Game 7 is on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 8:03 p.m. ET.

The World Series starts on FOX at 7 p.m. ET.

This is the first World Series without Joe Buck calling the games. Joe Davis will be calling this year's series for the Los Angeles Dodgers. John Smoltz will call the game for ESPN. Ken Rosenthal and Tom Verducci will report from the field.

All World Series games will air on 94.1 WIP with announcers Scott Franzke and Larry Andersen. ESPN Radio will broadcast each game with Jon Sciambi on the call.

The Astros are the favorite to win the World Series at -190. The Phillies are listed at +160.
