Fan-favorite Rickie Fowler is having a phenomenal season on the PGA Tour. After a hefty decline in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) in recent years, Fowler now ranks 22nd.
It had been over four years since the California native’s last win before Fowler claimed victory at the Rocket Mortgage Classic victory earlier this month. Defeating Viktor Hovland won’t be easy, but Royal Liverpool plays to Rickie’s skillsets.

The one-time PGA Tour winner hasn’t found much success at majors in the last two years. Louis Oosthuizen withdrew during the second round of the Masters due to injury and didn’t compete in the PGA Championship or US Open.
In 2022, the South African was cut from two of the three majors he participated in. In his lone appearance in the weekend rounds of a major, Oosthuizen was T60 at the PGA Championship.
