2023 Cook Out 400 odds, picks: NASCAR best bets for Richmond from proven racing experts

Just five races remain before the NASCAR playoffs begin on Sept. 3, so the intensity should be high at the 2023 Cook Out 400 on Sunday at Richmond Raceway (3 p.m. ET). Martin Truex Jr. sits atop the playoff standings with 711 points, but William Byron, the leader in outright wins this season (4) is close behind with 681 points. Caesars Sportsbook lists Truex as the favorite at +410 (risk $100 to win $410) in the latest 2023 Cook Out 400 odds. Denny Hamlin has the second-lowest odds at +525, followed by Kyle Larson (+600), Christopher Bell (+650) and Kevin Harvick (+700).
