2023 World Cup odds: Germany, Group H betting preview
On the surface, it seems like Group H at the 2023 World Cup has one powerhouse at the top and then three teams fighting for second place.
But are we sure that Germany – champions in 2003 and 2007 – will win this group? In the team’s pre-World Cup warm-up match, it lost to Zambia, 3-2, with the Germans conceding all three goals on counterattacks. Even if Germany wasn’t playing 100 percent, it’s still a massive upset. Germany is ranked second in the world by FIFA; Zambia is 77th.
