Coroebus and My Prospero are going to the St James’s Palace Stakes on Tuesday. Coroebus won the Royal Lodge Stake last season and the 2000 Guineas. Prospera was beaten in a Newmarket novice stakes on his only run at two. He won his maiden at Newbury on debut this season. He has 7lb to find on official ratings. Kyprios and Stradivarius are going to meet in the Gold Cup at Ascot on Thursday at 16:20. Stradoivius has won the race three times and lost it once, but he is back for more this time. Kyprio is half the age of Stradaivarian and is trained by a trainer who has more Gold Cups than any other. He won his first Gold cup at four weeks old.

Homeless Songs v Inspiral - Coronation Stakes, 16:20 Friday. Inspirational won the Fillies’ Mile at Newmarket last October. Homeless Songs won her maiden on her racecourse debut at Leopardstown last July. She was beaten in her next two races last season, but she bounced back to form in the Guineas Trial at Leopoldstown on debut this term. She won that race by five and a half lengths. Tuesday, who enhanced that form by winning The Oaks at Epsom 12 days later, is the current favourite.
