5 big teams which could get knocked out early in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar

The 2022 FIFA World Cup is less than two months away. The international teams that have secured a berth in Qatar are in the final leg of their preparations. Some of the teams are not in good shape and could be knocked out early in 2022.

Switzerland beat Spain 2-1 on Saturday. Switzerland have won two of their last seven matches. They were drawn in a very competitive Group G with Brazil and Serbia. Serbia qualified directly from Group A ahead of Portugal. Brazil are one of the favorites to win the World Cup this year.

The United States national team has won just one of their last four matches. They have only four wins in their past 10 games. The team have lost against Japan, Costa Rica, Canada, Uruguay, Mexico and El Salvador. USA have been drawn in Group B with England and Wales at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Uruguay finished third in CONEMBOL World Cup Qualifiers behind Brazil and Argentina. Luis Suarez and Darwin Nunez are not in good form. Edinson Cavani has played just one game for club this season. Uruguay has been drawn in a tough group with Portugal, South Korea and Ghana.

Germany finished last in their group at the 2018 FIFA World Cup behind Sweden, Mexico and South Korea. They haven't won in six games and they could be knocked out early in the 2022 FIFA Cup in Qatar.

Hungary tops UEFA Nations League Group A3 with 10 points. Italy is second with 8 points, Germany 6 points and England 2 points down.

France lost 2-0 to Denmark on Sunday (September 25). They have not won in their last six matches. Most of the players from the side that won the 2018 World Cup are past their prime. Paul Pogba is likely to miss the World cup after undergoing knee surgery earlier this month. They are looking vulnerable ahead of 2022 FIFA World Cups.
