The Dallas Cowboys defeated the New York Giants 23-16 at MetLife Stadium on Monday night. Micah Parsons was out injured and the team was short on offensive options.

DeMarcus Lawrence had a good game against the New York Giants. He had not had many pressures or sacks in the first two games. Lawrence sacked Giants quarterback Daniel Jones three times. He also had three QB hits and three tackles for loss.

The Cowboys beat the Giants 23-16. Terrence Steele played well despite some questions about his job security. He gave Cooper Rush plenty of time in the pocket and got to the edges in run game.

Tony Pollard and Zeke Elliott were the Cowboys' primary running backs. They had 28 carries between them and rushed 178 yards for an average of 6.3 yards a carry. Their success balanced the Dallas offense. Cooper Rush attempted 31 passes.

Dorance Armstrong recorded his third sack of the season and blocked a field goal attempt to prevent the Giants from taking an early 3-0 lead. The Cowboys won 23-16 over the New York Giants.

Noah Brown played well in his role as the Cowboys' second receiver. He made a number of tough catches and fought for yardage. Michael Gallup is getting closer to his return to action.
