It has been tough to figure out the Knicks these days, and they do play better on the road, so things can really go either way here. The Knicks will be looking to ease Josh Hart into their rotation after trading for him on Wednesday. New York is coming off a big win at home against this same 76ers team on Sunday, but Philadelphia is the more talented team, as they are led by Joel Embiid and James Harden.

As we dig deeper into this matchup, there is a lot to unpack, so what can we expect on Friday? Stay right here as we will dig into our 76ers vs. Knicks predictions with odds provided by Caesars Sportsbook.

After spending his college years at Villanova, being back in Philadelphia should certainly benefit Jalen Brunson, but there is more to the Knicks, as they are also led by Julius Randle. From an offensive perspective, both teams are pretty equal, scoring 114.3 and 114.2 points while playing at a slow pace ranking 24th and 28th in the league. We can’t escape the fact that the Knicks are playing without Mitchell Robinson, but they are 5-5 in their last 10 games.

Not having Robinson ultimately wasn’t an issue for the Knicks on Sunday, even though Embiid did finish with 31 points and 14 rebounds. Regardless of what happens, Embiid will get his production, and the same can be said for James Harden, even though at 21.9 points per game, he isn’t really shooting the lights out this season and scored just 12 points on Sunday.

There were a lot of ebbs and flows, especially in the first quarter of Sunday’s game after the Knicks fell behind early before storming back to victory. Philadelphia is the better team, but it is a homecoming for Jalen Brunson, and they generally play up to their competition, so the thought process is that they keep things close.

With that being said, the thinking here is that New York will cover the 5.5-point spread available if you join Caesars Sportsbook.

After playing college basketball for Villanova and having his number retired earlier in the week, Brunson should be flying high heading into Friday’s game. The Knicks point guard has yet to score less than 21 points in his last six games, with at least four assists in each. From a props standpoint, that is the direction we look regarding Brunson, as he should break the 20-point mark once again.

Embiid has been truly locked in lately, and he finished with 31 points and 14 rebounds against this same Knicks team on Sunday, and he has double-digit rebounds in six of his last seven games while scoring at least 26 points over that stretch. There is nothing to slow Embiid down tonight or to get in his way, and we have a pretty established baseline for the marks we can expect him to surpass on Friday.

For Harden, things have not been as consistent on the offensive end, but one area of his game that has not suffered is in the playmaking department. On Sunday, Harden finished with 12 assists, and regardless of what he does from a scoring standpoint, his production should be there from a playmaking perspective.

Our experts made their 76ers vs. Knicks NBA predictions with odds provided by Caesars Sportsbook. New York +5.5 comes with -110 odds, while Philadelphia -5.5 is priced at the same -110 odds. That means an $11 wager on the Knicks would profit $10 if they don’t lose by more than six points, or pull off the upset, while the same $11 bet on the 76ers would win $10 if they win by at least six points.

The total (over/under) is listed at 229 with -110 odds on both the over and under. Remember, you can place a $10 bet on any market after registering for a new account at Caesars Sportsbook and receive first-bet insurance of up to $1,250 with the Caesars promo code FULLSYR.
