The Eastern Michigan University football team won the MAC West division and the Michigan MAC trophy this season. The team finished the season at 8-4. They also won share of the conference and won their first trophy since 2012. EMU earned four first team All-MAC selections. Jose Ramirez won a MAC MVP award. He also holds the all-time record for total sacks in a season for EMUs football. The EMUS team also knocked off Arizone State in Tempe, Arizona. Arizona State's head coach Herm Edwards was fired after that game.

EMU football team is projected to play in three bowls this year. The team could play at Quick Lane Bowl, Idaho Potato Bowl or Boca Raton Bowl.

The Quick Lane Bowl is a potential bowl game for EMU football team. The team from the Big Ten Conference could play against the Mid-American Conference team, but it's not the best option for the team as it would be in Detroit, Michigan at Ford Field. The players might not want to stay in Michigan for their last game of the season. It's understood that the Quick lane Bowl would have a great turnout with fans and the community.

EMU is interested in playing in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. The game is played at Alberstons Stadium on the campus of Boise State University in Boise, Idaho. EMU and Utah State are both averaging around 25 points per game this season. EMu and Boise have 4,000 total yards of offense.

The Boca Raton Bowl is an annual college football bowl game played in Bocas Ratons, Florida. Georgia Southern is a Sun Belt team that can be dangerous. The schedule for the EMU football team's bowl games will be released tomorrow, Sunday, Dec. 4, starting at 12 p.m. ET on ESPN.
