The Queen's horse Bold Sniper came second in the Wolferton Handicap, while the Queen had earlier lost her Gold Cup crown to Irish challenger Leading Light. Dubai's Sheikh Mohammed bin Fayed al Maktoum and Saudi Arabia's Prince Khalid ibn Abdullah are among the owners bidding for success on the field. Prince Andrew, Peter Phillips and the Duke of Kent joined the party in Royal Enclosure. The Queen was serene in a hot pink coat and matching hat. She waved to the cheering crowds. Prince Philip was on typically dapper form in black morning dress and a neat grey and black top hat, and Prince Harry was in good form.
