Aaron Judge contract prediction puts him ahead of Mike Trout

Aaron Judge is having a record-setting season. He is a clear AL MVP frontrunner and is chasing a Triple Crown. The 30-year-old rejected a seven-years, $213.5 million contract offer from the Yankees in spring training. Now he's willing to talk to 30 teams. Mike Trout signed the largest contract in professional sports history worth $426. 5 million in March 2019. He's now the third-largest deal in sports behind Lionel Messi and Patrick Mahomes.

Yankees broadcaster Michael Kay believes that the Yankees need to go at least $100 million over their last offer to keep Aaron Judge. After this 2022 season, Aaron could land a 10-year $400 million contract. A 10 year AAV of $40 million would be higher than Mike Trout's AVA of$35.6 million per year.
