ACC Championship: Q&A Preview

The Tar Heels are going to Charlotte for the ACC Championship. They are 8-0 and will play Clemson, who is 8th in the conference. Noah Monroe from the Daily Tar-Heel gives his opinion on the team.

Ryan Kantor and Noah Monroe discuss North Carolina's current state of play. Ryan thinks the team is good enough to have a decent shot against anybody. Noah believes UNC is dangerous because of their offense. They have first-team All-ACC players in Drake Maye and Josh Downs. They won close games against Wake Forest and Miami.

North Carolina has lost both of its recent games. Georgia Tech and NC State have slowed down the North Carolina offense. Drake Maye is the key to the offense and he has been sacked a lot this season. He is a first-year starter and a redshirt freshman.

North Carolina is playing in the ACC Championship. Ryan and Noah are giving their predictions for the game. They are optimistic about the team's defense and their chances of winning. Noah is optimistic that the student interest in football will be high. An ACC championship would be North Carolina's first since 1980. The tickets for 10,000 students were sold very quickly. There will probably be a 50/50 crowd. It will also be mostly Carolina Blue. UNC basketball team was ranked No. 1 in country. At the Duke game this season, Carolina blue dominated the crowd and the fans expected it to be 50% at the Charlotte game too.

Noah believes that UNC's offense is the biggest X-factor in their win. Ryan believes Drake Maye needs to get back to his previous form to win the game. Noah has faith in UNC to come out on top.
