Adelaide 36ers become first NBL team to defeat an NBA team

Adelaide 36ers of the NBL beat Phoenix Suns 134-124 on Sunday. The 36er's are the first non-NBA team to win a preseason game in the United States since Fenderbahce defeated Brooklyn Nets in October 2015. Phoenix finished with 9-of-34 (26.5%) shooting from 3-point range, while Adelaide shot 24- of 43 (55.8%) from downtown.

Adelaide 36ers are the first NBL club to beat an NBA team, winning 134-124 over the Phoenix Suns. Robert Franks scored 32 points in 42 minutes. Chris Paul, Devin Booker, Cam Johnson, Mikal Bridges, and Deandre Ayton all played only 22 minutes, while Bridges and Aytons both scored 22 points. The Suns' reserves outscored the 36er's bench 57-26. Phoenix outscore them 64-30 in the paint.
