12:50 (Aintree) Mylesfromwicklow

MYLESFROMWICKLOW (4) finished second on all four hurdle outings. Stepping up looks a huge plus for this previous point-to-point winner and he can make a winning handicap debut with improvement expected.

Similar comments apply to SOUND AND FURY (10) who represents last year's winning trainer and also could do better now raised in distance on handicap debut.

Other honourable mentions go to narrow Kelso handicap hurdle runner-up CZECH HER OUT (3) and NO BUT I WILL (9) who won a novice hurdle on decent ground at Bangor when last seen in April.

13:25 (Aintree) Nestor Park

NESTOR PARK (5) has run well fresh in the past and could find conditions to suit here. Finished a decent third in a handicap chase at Uttoxeter during May and looks one to side with off the same mark in an open contest.

CELEBRE D'ALLEN (6) finished a well-beaten eighth in the Topham (Handicap Chase) here in April however is 6lbs below his last winning mark and hard to ignore down in grade.

BOLDMERE (2) battled on to score narrowly attempting a handicap chase over this distance at Fakenham in April. Could go well upon return. DUC DE BEAUCHENE (11) makes for each-way appeal.

14:00 (Aintree) Hitman

A fascinating renewal. HITMAN (1) finished runner-up on reappearance last season and it's interesting connections opt to take the same route. Arrives 1lbs lower this time and with some high-class Graded chase to his name may go one better this year.

MY DROGO (6) makes his return to action following an absence of 687 days. Picked up an injury after winning at Cheltenham back in December 2021 however created a deep impression winning a G1 novice hurdle here and is considered.

TOMMY'S OSCAR (2) won at Kelso resuming. Bold bid likely off 6lbs higher. DATSALRIGHTGINO (7) needs to be included.

14:35 (Aintree) Inthewaterside

INTHEWATERSIDE (1) looked good winning a Sandown jumpers flat in comfortable fashion during February. Paul Nicholls will likely have him well-schooled for this assignment and can win initial hurdle outing.

French recruit JAGWAR (10) displayed ability finishing runner-up at Auteuil just over a year ago. Must be respected having joined notable connections since.

Irish point-to-point winner SIMPLE GETAWAY (5) may get involved on debut under rules. IRON D'EX (2) completes the shortlist.

15:10 (Aintree) Crambo

Fergal O'Brien won this last year and CRAMBO (4) may well ensure he does so once more. Looked progressive prior to being outclassed in the G1 Turners Mersey Novices Hurdle here when last seen in April. May bounce back returning to this suitable level.

SANTOS BLUE (5) improved considerably last season. Lost nothing in defeat when third at Cheltenham seeking a hurdle four-timer back in April. The 3lbs rise in weights could prove manageable with further progress anticipated and can go well under regular conditional Ben Sutton.

SONIGINO (2) made a pleasing return finishing third in the Silver Trophy (Handicap Hurdle) at Chepstow. Might take a step forward. LAC DE CONSTANCE (1) holds place claims.

15:45 (Aintree) Pembroke

PEMBROKE (1) ended last season producing an excellent fifth-placed finish in the G1 Poundland Top Novices Hurdle at this venue. The Skelton-trained six-year-old made a promising start to his chasing career with a runner-up effort at Uttoxeter and can put that experience to good use.

MASTER CHEWY (4) proved a touch disappointing when hurdling toward the end of last year. Could prove a different proposition now chasing for a yard in great form.

CHAPEL GREEN (6) jumped well to win a Hexham novice chase and cannot be ignored off a 7lbs higher mark. Runner-up that day GENERAL OFFICER (3) might be in the mix.

16:20 (Aintree) Lady Jago

Getaway filly LADY JAGO (8) joined a powerful stable following her debut Irish point-to-point success and can make a winning start under rules.

Market support behind Court Cave newcomer COCO BRAVE (5) would be interesting representing a stable that does well in jumpers flat events.

BETTY'S TIARA (1) gives weight all round after winning first up at Stratford during August and cannot be left out of the equation.

LADY IN THE PARK (3) won an Irish point-to-point at Lingstown in May. Must be considered on her first outing for new connections.
