The College Football Playoff is made up of Georgia, No. 1 Michigan, no. 3 TCU and No 4 Ohio State. Georgia will play in the Peach Bowl on Dec. 31 at 7 p.m. CT, while Michigan will meet TCU in Fiesta Bowl at 3 p.,m., CT. Alabama finished No 5 in final rankings and will learn its bowl game assignment Sunday afternoon. The Sugar Bowl is the destination for the Tide. It is second time in four seasons Alabama has missed the playoff. The committee’s final, full top 25 will be released later Sunday. No two-loss team has been selected the playoffs in its eight-year history.
