American League Betting Preview: Blue Jays, Astros Lead AL Contenders

FanGraphs sees the Blue Jays as the most likely American team to make the postseason and win the World Series. The Yankees are a perennial contender despite doing little in offseason. Minnesota Twins have improved with the addition of Carlos Correa, Sonny Gray, and Gary Sanchez.
Houston is a -175 favorite to win the American League West. Los Angeles Angels and Seattle Mariners could be contenders for wild card berths in the postseason. Guardians are a long shot to be the next American league champion in 2022. If Guardians overperform slightly, they could find themselves as buyers at the trade deadline.
