Anytime Touchdown Scorer Super Bowl Predictions: First, Anytime TD Props, Odds

The San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs will clash during Super Bowl 58, and our best Super Bowl betting sites are posting anytime and first touchdown scorer odds as we break down those markets.

The touchdown prop market generates plenty of attention any week, and especially with the Super Bowl drawing near.

More touchdown markets continue to pop up as we drift toward Super Bowl week. Those options can be found through the Super Bowl player props at our best NFL betting sites. And when looking to bet on this futures market, it's best to study the Super Bowl odds and the Super Bowl MVP odds.

To accompany our Super Bowl predictions, let's examine the anytime and first touchdown odds for Super Bowl 58.

Super Bowl 2024 anytime touchdown scorer prop odds

(Super Bowl 58 touchdown scorer odds updated Feb. 1)

bet365 is offering a boost from +375 to +450 for the Chiefs to win with Travis Kelce recording 75-plus receiving yards and a touchdown. Don't forget to use our bet365 bonus code! Offer excludes Ontario.

We're seeing major movement tied to McCaffrey, who's now as short as -400 through Caesars after being even money at one point earlier in the postseason. That price from Caesars is an outlier though, and one to stay away from. McCaffrety is easily the shortest-priced option across the board, but he generally sits around -220 elsewhere.

Similarly, the plus-odds options for Travis Kelce are nearly gone. He was as long as +120 through Caesars, but the tight end is in either minus territory or at even money nearly everywhere now, with Caesars the only exception.

Who is the Super Bowl 2024 anytime touchdown scorer favorite?

Christian McCaffrey (-213 via BetMGM)

Of course, the benefit of an early bet is grabbing good value, and some of those prime opportunities have long passed. Christian McCaffrey's anytime touchdown scorer odds are an example of that value evaporating.

McCaffrey is a touchdown machine after scoring 25 times so far in 2023-24, which includes twice during both the 49ers' Divisional Round win over the Green Bay Packers and the NFC Championship victory over the Detroit Lions. His anytime touchdown price for the Big Game through DraftKings has fallen from +100 to below -200.

Super Bowl 2024 first touchdown scorer odds

For obvious reasons, a first touchdown scorer prop bet is much more restrictive than an anytime touchdown scorer wager. As such, we get higher odds for all players in the market.

Caesars is again a book to avoid here, as it's posting the worst number on five of the top-10 players.

Who is the Super Bowl 2024 first touchdown scorer favorite?

Christian McCaffrey (+350 via FanDuel)

McCaffrey is also the leader here, and by an even wider margin.

The duel-threat presence finished second leaguewide in red-zone rushing yards during the regular season (205). He also led in red-zone attempts while finishing with 65, far ahead of the Cowboys' Tony Pollard in second at 57.

Super Bowl 2024 multiple touchdown odds

All of our best sportsbooks have now posted multiple touchdown odds for Super Bowl 58. That means wagering on a player to score at least two touchdowns. Most shops also offer a three-plus touchdown market, which comes with longer odds.

Our best live betting sites are all over the map on Travis Kelce, with several listing him at or around +700, but he's down to +475 at DraftKings and +375 through bet365.

Who is the Super Bowl 2024 multi-touchdown scorer favorite?

Christian McCaffrey (+260 via DraftKings)

There's an echo in here. McCaffrey is yet again the favorite in another touchdown market, and deservedly so since he's magnetized to the end zone. McCaffrey finished tied for the regular-season league lead in touchdowns and tied for fourth in 2022.

His touchdowns often came in bunches, too, which is why there's such a steep dropoff in this market after McCaffrey. He's logged multiple touchdowns in a game seven times during 2023-24. That includes his two during each of the 49ers' playoff games thus far and a whopping four back in Week 4 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Super Bowl touchdown scorer history

Here's a look at the previous 10 Super Bowl first touchdown scorers:

  • Super Bowl 57: QB Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles
  • Super Bowl 56: WR Odell Beckham Jr., Los Angeles Rams
  • Super Bowl 55: TE Rob Gronkowski, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • Super Bowl 54: QB Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs
  • Super Bowl 53: RB Sony Michel, New England Patriots
  • Super Bowl 52: WR Alshon Jeffery, Philadelphia Eagles
  • Super Bowl 51: RB Devonta Freeman, Atlanta Falcons
  • Super Bowl 50: DT Malik Jackson, Denver Broncos
  • Super Bowl 49: WR Brandon LaFell, New England Patriots
  • Super Bowl 48: RB Marshawn Lynch, Seattle Seahawks

While it's not predictive by any means, it's interesting that a different position has recorded the first touchdown in four of the previous five Super Bowls.

In case you're wondering whether there's a positional edge in terms of anytime touchdown scorers, here's a position-by-position breakdown of every touchdown scored in the previous 10 Super Bowls:

Longest touchdown prop bets

Making a longest touchdown prop bet is a 50-50 proposition. The sportsbook posts a yardage number, and you can bet that the longest TD will come in higher or lower than that number.

Bear in mind that all touchdowns count toward the longest TD prop market – even special teams (kick or punt return) touchdowns and defensive (fumble or interception return) scores.

Here's a breakdown of the longest touchdowns from the last 10 Super Bowls:

Good luck handicapping this one. Over just the past 10 Super Bowls alone, we've seen a range of 85 yards (!) between longest scores, with a two-yard score representing the longest TD in two different Super Bowls over that span.

Shortest touchdown prop bets

You can also find shortest Super Bowl touchdown props.

If you're curious about why the odds are low for a one-yard score, it's because we've witnessed a significant number of such scores in recent Super Bowl history. Out of the last 21 NFL championship games, two-thirds of the contests included a one-yard score. There have been 19 one-yard touchdowns over that span, which also includes two from Super Bowl 57.
