Elliott Fernandez, 19, has a rare form of cancer. He was a ball-boy at the Etihad Stadium for nine years. His family is trying to raise £100,000 to send him to a clinic in Stuttgart for specialist cancer treatment. The campaign has raised £18,555 in just 48 hours. His mother Beverley Clarke Fernandez is overwhelmed by the response. She is grateful for the support from people across the footballing divide. Elliott is a lifelong Manchester City fan.
