Appleby lands big North American double as Walton Street and Yibir score
Walton Street won the Canadian International at Woodbine on Saturday. It was a first Grade 1 win for Frankie Dettori since Colour Vision landed the Ascot Gold Cup in June 2012. The jockey became the winningmost jockerer in the race's history with four successes. His other mount, Raging Bull, finished second behind Town Cruise in Wood bine Mile. Appleby and Godolphin will team up with Wild Beauty in Natalma Stakes (10.06) and Albahr in Summer Stake ( 10.39) on Sunday evening.
Appleby and Godolphin's Godson's team won the Jockey Club Derby Invitational at Belmont Park. Great Voltigeur Stakes winner Yibir won by two and a half lengths.
