Arsenal, Liverpool, Man Utd: Revisiting BBC pundits’ Premier League top four predictions

Arsenal beat Liverpool 3-2 on Sunday. Buyako Saka scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot. Arsenal are one point ahead of Manchester City, who beat Southampton 4-0 on Saturday.

BBC pundits predicted Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United would finish in the top four this season.

BBC pundits predicted the top four Premier League teams at the start of the season. 13 of 22 thought Man City would retain their title. Only Rob Green didn't predict a Man United and Liverpool top two.

BBC pundits didn't predict an Arsenal title race. Only eight of the 22 backed Arsenal to finish fourth. Seventeen of 22 pundits thought Tottenham would finish in the top three. Dion Dublin didn’t think Antonio Conte”s side would make it to the Champions League.
