Arsenal Premier League Title Odds: 10/11 After Everton Win

Arsenal‘s odds of winning the Premier League title have been priced at 10/11 following their 4-0 victory over Everton at the Emirates Stadium this evening.

The Gunners took another step towards their first Premier League title in over 20 years this evening, as they ran out as 4-0 winners over relegation-battlers Everton.

Mikel Arteta named an unchanged Arsenal lineup from the win over Leicester at the weekend. Eddie Nketiah started a second successive match on the bench, as Thomas Partey was named as a substitute.

Everton were looking for a repeat from the reverse fixture just a month ago. Sean Dyche dealt a blow to the Gunners‘ title hopes at Goodison Park last time out, as James Tarkowski netted the winner in a 1-0 victory.

Arsenal didn’t let that affect them this evening, however.

Bukayo Saka continued his rich vein of form, opening the scoring after 40 minutes. The 21-year-old tricked the Everton defence with a quick turn, before expertly converting at Jordan Pickford’s near post.

It didn’t take long for the Gunners to double their advantage either.

A loose ball in behind the Toffees defence gave Gabriel Martinelli a free run in on goal, as he converted in the Premier League for the tenth time this season.

After featuring for six minutes against Leicester at the weekend, Partey replaced Jorginho at half-time – giving the Ghanaian his first half of football since the draw against Brentford almost three weeks ago.

Martin Odegaard got in on the act in the 71st minute. The Norwegian turned home for Arsenal’s third, assisted by January signing Leandro Trossard.

They didn’t stop there either, as Martinelli notched his second of the evening, and his 11th of the season – helping Arsenal secure another vital victory in their push for the league title.

The Gunners now move five points clear of second place Manchester City. Up next for Mikel Arteta’s men is a home tie against Bournemouth in the league on Saturday afternoon.
