Reiss Nelson injured his hamstring in Arsenal's 2-0 defeat to Juventus. The winger posted a three-word message on Instagram. Mikel Arteta is without Gabriel Jesus following knee surgery. Arsenal are preparing to play Premier League on Boxing Day. Nelson spent last season on loan at Feyenoord. He scored two goals in the 5-1 win over Nottingham Forest in October.
Jesus is injured and Eddie Nketiah will start for Arsenal against West Ham on Boxing Day. Arteta has no concerns about his ability to step up. He has two goals in four mid-season friendlies but missed a sitter against Juventus.
