Caulfield and Melbourne Cup winner Without A Fight could tackle the Australian Cup first-up when he resumes in the autumn.

Co-trainer Sam Freedman said that is an option for Without A Fight, who has won four of his five starts for the stable, starting with the Lord Mayors Cup (1800m) first-up at Eagle Farm last May.

"He's having a little break. He's in great order. Maybe the Australian Cup first-up," said Freedman, who trains in partnership with his father Anthony.

Freedman and Without A Fight's jockey Mark Zahra said they are looking forward to being guests of owner Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum.

"I'm off to see the Sheikh with Sam. We've got a week in Dubai, which will be great. It will be a relaxing week hanging out with his owner," Zahra said.

"It has been a whirlwind couple of weeks. Very exciting and we have the staff celebrations tomorrow to get through.

"We're off early on Monday morning and deliver to him on Tuesday. He's got a nice full cabinet now with a Caulfield Cup and Melbourne Cup."

Freedman said it was a massive relief that their mare Hypothetical was able to win a Stakes race when she took out the Neds Village Stakes (1100m) at Caulfield on Saturday.

"We've been trying for the Stakes win for a while and she's had some narrow defeats," Freedman said, with Hypothetical to be set for the Group 1 Robert Sangster Stakes at Morphettville next year.
