Auxerre vs Montpellier betting tips: Ligue 1 preview, prediction and odds

Two sides right down at the bottom end of Ligue 1 will meet this Sunday afternoon as Montpellier head to the Stade Abbe Deschamps where Auxerre sit 19th and still in serious trouble.

Auxerre are coming into this game off the back of smashing Ligue 2′s Niort in the French Cup round of 32. Gaetan Perrin scored a brace that day, as Nuno da Costa and Matthis Abline scored too.

Montpellier have rocketed down into 15th as well in the midst of their own terrible form. Romain Pitau’s men were beaten 3-0 at home to Nantes last time out in what is one of their worst results of the season. Worse yet, Wahbi Khazri and Elye Wahi were both sent off that game.
