Avalanche win streak puts them back on top of odds to win Western Conference
Oddsmakers have the Avs leading all West teams in odds to win the Cup, thanks to their latest streak.
DENVER — The Colorado Avalanche continue to roll all the way back to Western Conference favorites.
After a 1-7 slide earlier this month, Colorado has bounced back with 5 straight wins & are back to second on FanDuel Sportsbook’s NHL title odds, and first among Western Conference teams despite being sixth in the conference in points thus far.
Colorado sits second overall in odds, level with the Carolina Hurricanes. Under normal circumstances, that would be pegged as a likely Stanley Cup Final, but the league-leading Boston Bruins are topping the field.

Arguably the most surprising part of the odds list is the Seattle Kraken ranking 17th in odds to win the Cup. The second-year team sits fourth in the Western Conference heading into Tuesday’s action. They’re 7-2-1 over their past 10 games, and rank third in the West with a goal differential of +22.
At the moment, it seems like Boston’s championship to lose. The Bruins are 12 points ahead of the next closest team, and their goal differential of +81 is so much better than the Dallas Stars at +42.
