Aviva Premiership 2017/18 week three preview
The Aviva Premiership 2017/18 is now back in full swing with six more interesting matches this weekend

As always we’ve picked three matches to bet on as part of our ambitious weekly bet.

Here’s our accumulator for the weekend:
London Irish to beat Sale: 11/3

Sale have lost their two first games, including a disappointing defeat against Newcastle at home last Friday night (which we predicted).

The Exiles have no fear and have already ruffled a few feathers upon their return to the Aviva Premiership with their win against Harlequins on the opening weekend of the campaign.

It will probably be a tense game, but London Irish can go into the game with no pressure, making 11/3 a good price.

Wasps to beat Harlequins, -14.5 handicap: 10/11

The last seven Premiership matches between these two clubs have all been won by the home side.

Therefore, it shouldn’t be a surprise that we’ve gone with Wasps here with a significant handicap. They are on a club record run of 20 successive Premiership home wins at the Ricoh Arena after all.

Quins have also not won away from home since March, making this a good choice to boost anyone’s accumulator.

Leicester Tigers to beat Gloucester, -10.5: 4/5

After defeat by Bath in week one and then Northampton Saints last week, Tigers go into Round 3 still looking for a first league win of the season.

Gloucester started the season well with a fantastic win against reigning champions Exeter at Kingsholm but fell way short against Harlequins on their travels last time out.

Tigers won this fixture comprehensively 34-9 last season, meaning we’re quietly confident, despite their disappointing start, to select a -10.5 handicap for the hosts.

Recent history is also in the Tigers’ favour with just one defeat in the pairs last nine meetings.
