Baffert debutant Faustin justifies Derby steam, wins his debut
Faustin, a Bob Baffert-trained colt, won his debut Monday as the odds-on favorite in a maiden race for 2-year-olds at Santa Anita. Sonoran finished second, Yellow Brick came third and Worcester came fourth. Baddert is suspended at Churchill Downs. He is fighting the suspension. He trains Faustin for Michael Lund Petersen. Lund bought the colts for $800,000 at an Ocala, Florida, sale of 2 year-old horses in April.
