Ballon d'Or 2022: Live stream, UK start time, TV channel, nominees CONFIRMED for prestigious award ceremony
30-man list of nominees for the Ballon d'Or 2022 has been announced. Lionel Messi won the award in 2011. Cristiano Ronaldo and Robert Lewandowski were the previous winners. Neymar and PSG's PS Germain player failed to make the shortlist this time.
The 66th Ballon d'Or ceremony takes place tonight, Monday, October 17th at 7.30 pm UK time at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris. The winner will be chosen based on performances over a season as opposed to a calendar year.
The Ballon d'Or ceremony will take place on Sunday, November 14th, 2022. Viewers in the UK can watch it live via the Eurosport website or the app. It will also be available on L'Equipe's YouTube channel.
Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe and Karim Benzema have been shortlisted for the Ballon d'Or. Lionel Messi didn't make it to the 30-man cut. The ceremony will take place on August 12 2022.
