Best NBA prop bets for Raptors vs. Suns (Achiuwa seizing "Precious" opportunity)

Even with Chris Paul in the lineup, the Phoenix Suns needed overtime to beat the lowly Spurs on Saturday. Paul had 31 points and 11 assists in a vintage performance. Now, they’re back home to take on the Toronto Raptors. The Raptors don’t have OG Anunoby tonight and the Suns are still waiting on Devin Booker’s return. That actually gives us an angle for a few prop bets tonight.

Here are my three favorites.

Raptors vs. Suns best NBA prop bets

Mikal Bridges OVER 17.5 points (+100)
Scottie Barnes UNDER 16.5 points (-120)
Precious Achiuwa OVER 23.5 points+rebounds (-118)

Mikal Bridges OVER 17.5 points (+100)

With Anunoby out tonight, the Raptor’s wing defense starts to get thin pretty quickly. You might think they have options with Scottie Barnes and Gary Trent Jr. but Toronto is 18th in defensive rating this season and that’s with Anunoby for 45 games. Jerami Grant had 26 for Portland last game, though the Raptors did win and only allowed 106 points.

Scottie Barnes UNDER 16.5 points (-120)

Barnes has been playing better lately, but he’s not living up to what we all expected him to become after winning rookie of the year last season. He’s averaging 15.7this season, and it slides a bit on the road, where he’s only averaging 14.3, so there’s value on this under even with Anunoby out.

Precious Achiuwa OVER 23.5 points+rebounds (-118)

When Anunoby missed last game, Barnes wasn’t the benefactor and neither was Gary Trent Jr. It was Achiuwa. He started for the first time this season and had 27 points and 13 rebounds. I expect that he’ll continue to take advantage of his increased role tonight.
