Best NBA prop bets today for Celtics vs. Pacers (How to bet Jrue Holiday)

The Boston Celtics are off to the best start in the NBA, and they’ll look to keep that going in the league’s In-Season Tournament Quarterfinals against the Indiana Pacers on Monday.

There are several ways to bet on this game, but one of my favorites is in the prop market.

I have a trio of plays for this game, including two Celtics veterans that may be undervalued with one star out tonight.

Let’s dive into the props for this game:

Al Horford OVER 21.5 points, rebounds and assists

I love this prop for Al Horford, which hit for us back on Friday night against the Philadelphia 76ers.

There have been four games that Horford has played this season without Kristaps Porzingis, and he will get that chance again with KP ruled out tonight.

Horford’s PRA numbers in those games are as follows:

The Celtics veteran big man is averaging 14.0 points, 9.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game with KP out of the lineup. He should be able to clear this against a team that is No. 1 in pace and No. 29 in defensive rating.

Tyrese Haliburton OVER 38.5 points and assists

Tyrese Haliburton has been on a heater as of late, averaging 34.6 points and 12.2 assists per game over his last five matchups.

He’s pushing this points and assists total with his season averages – 27.0 points and 11.8 assists per game –  and given his scoring prowess right now, he could be worth an OVER bet.

Boston has the No. 2 defense in the NBA, but Haliburton has been matchup-proof as of late. He missed the first meeting against Boston, but I expect a big showing on Monday.

Jrue Holiday OVER 11.5 assists and rebounds

This may be my favorite prop of the night, as Jrue Holiday is averaging 7.2 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game. He now gets to take on a team that plays uptempo – ranking No. 1 in pace in the NBA.

Holiday has cleared this line in seven games this season, and with Porzingis out, I expect him to see a few more touches for Boston on Monday night. With a sky-high total, there should be plenty of possessions for Holiday to fill the stat sheet.
