Best NBA prop bets today for Lakers vs. Nets (Kyrie Irving stays hot)

The Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets face off on Monday night with LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Kevin Durant all sidelined for this game.

That leaves us some opportunities in the prop market, specifically on guard Russell Westbrook and Kyrie Irving.

Here are three prop bets to consider for this game:

Russell Westbrook OVER 19.5 Points

Westbrook has played three games without James and Davis in the lineup, scoring 16, 21 and 25 points in those games.

The other key for Westbrook in these games is his usage, taking 13, 18 and 21 shots in those three games.

With James and Davis both out tonight, I’d expect Westbrook to play a major role in the offense for Los Angeles. Prior to a rough four-game stretch, Westbrook had scored 20-plus points in seven of his previous nine matchups.

Royce O’Neale OVER 1.5 3-Pointers

O’Neale has been great beyond the arc for the Nets this season, averaging 2.3 made 3-pointers per game while shooting 40.3 percent.

O’Neale has cleared this number in six of his last 11 games, taking 5.9 shots from 3 over that stretch.

The Lakers are 25th in the NBA in opponent 3-point percentage, so I like the Nets to get some good looks from deep tonight.

Kyrie Irving OVER 30.5 Points

Irving is on fire, scoring at least 30 points in six straight games.

I love the OVER on his points prop here since the Lakers play at the No. 2 pace in the NBA. There should be plenty of chances for Kyrie to score, and he’s taken advantage of Kevin Durant being out of the lineup, taking 27 or more shots in four of his last six matchups.

As long as Kyrie is going to get that kind of usage, the OVER this prop is the way to go.
