Best NBA Prop Bets Today: NBA Player Props for Monday 11/27/23

Tyrese Haliburton Over 24.5 Points (-111) at FanDuel

Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers are on pace to set the all-time NBA record for highest offensive rating. He averages 25.4 points per game and cashed over 24.5 points in six of his last seven games, including in a 26-point performance against the Detroit Pistons his last time out. ‘

The Trail Blazers are average on defense and won’t be fresh since they played last night. They also don’t have any real ball-stoppers in the backcourt and should be at the mercy of the fourth-year star, who’s playing as well as anyone in the league.

Joel Embiid Under 32.5 Points (-111) at FanDuel

Embiid leads the league in scoring (32.1 points per game) and put up 35 points in his last game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. However, he went under 32.5 in four straight games just before that and has a tough matchup on Monday.

The Los Angeles Lakers are strong at the rim with Anthony Davis, LeBron James, Jaxson Hayes, and others, and will put up a wall in front of Embiid. They also commit the fewest fouls per game (17.5), which will hurt a player who gets an average of 10.3 points from the free-throw line.

Kyle Kuzma Under 5.5 Assists (-136) at FanDuel

Kuz has taken on the role of facilitator and playmaker recently in an attempt to save the Washington Wizards’ season. He recorded eight, four, 10, and 13 assists in his last four games, though the Wizards did not win any of them and have now lost nine straight games.

The Detroit Pistons are also on a terrible losing streak of 13 games, but they have strong individual defenders and can cause trouble for opponents (even if they’re only 21st in defensive rating). This is also an opportunity for Kuz to return to the role of scorer against a struggling team, and we don’t expect him to continue looking for the pass before the shot.

Zion Williamson Over 25.5 Points (-108) at FanDuel

After a questionable start to the season and uninspiring postgame comments, the first-overall pick in the 2019 Draft is starting to return to his dominant self. He poured in 32 points against the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday and scored 25, 26, and 26 points in the games immediately before.

The Utah Jazz are seventh in possessions per game and 26th in defensive rating, which means they play fast and don’t focus on defense. That should lead to plenty of scoring opportunities for the Pelicans, especially since Walker Kessler is still not 100% after recently returning from an injury.

Nikola Jokic Over 1.5 Threes (+132) at FanDuel

Jokic is playing the best basketball of his career and has an absurd stat line of 28.8 points, 13.4 rebounds, and 8.9 assists per night. However, his three-point shooting isn’t quite where it’s been in years past, and he’s making only 1.4 attempts per game on 31.1% shooting.

There are a couple of reasons we’re backing the reigning Finals MVP despite his early struggle. First, he’s taking a career-high 4.4 three-point attempts per game, and second, Ivica Zubac and the Los Angeles Clippers aren’t going to press up onto him on the perimeter. The Joker already made two threes in an earlier game against the Clippers and has a great chance to do the same again on Monday.
