Best NRFI and YRFI Bets Today (Astros vs Rangers Among Three Matchups to Target)

After a no-sweat clean sweep in yesterday's No Run First Inning (NRFI) and Yes Run first Innings (YRFI), I'm riding high. There are games sprinkled throughout the afternoon into the evening. The road to two straight sweeps starts now.

Martín Pérez has been a revelation for the Texas Rangers this season. He's especially good in the first inning with a 1.80 ERA. Cristian Javier is also a dominant pitcher with 2.84 ERA in that inning.

Dodgers vs Mets is a game to watch. Jacob deGrom is back to his old form. Tyler Anderson has been excellent for the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Mets are 23rd in OPS against left-handed pitchers this month.

Neither Marco Gonzales nor Tyler Alexander can be trusted. Gonzale has an expected FIP above 5.70 in each of his last three road starts. Alexander's MLB Statcast Pitching Profile should excite Detroit Tigers' hitters.

Alexander gave up seven runs in three innings against the Texas Rangers in his last start. Alexander has given up five home runs across his previous three outings.
