The Pacers earned the right to play for the first NBA in-season tournament championship by taking down Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks 128-119.

Indiana led at the half, 63-51, but after a massive third quarter by the Bucks, they trailed 94-91 going into the fourth. The Pacers led for most of the final quarter but didn't start to pull away until the last couple of minutes.

As for the Lakers, their semifinal showdown with the Pelicans could not have been more different. New Orleans led after the first, 30-29, but then LeBron James and the Lakers took over and never looked back.

Los Angeles led by 13 at the half, but they iced the game with a 43-17 third quarter.

The Pacers and Lakers have not played this season but split their 2022-23 series 1-1. During his lengthy career, LeBron James has compiled a 40-24 record vs. Indiana with 27.2 PPG, 7.6 RPG and 6.6 APG.

Bets to consider

To record a triple-double

Haliburton is not much of a rebounder, but he did have 10 against the Celtics (and a triple-double) on Monday. LeBron James will bring his A+ game in an effort to add one more piece of hardware to his already impressive legacy.

There is a very good chance Anthony Davis dominates the boards for the Lakers (taking away from LeBron's opportunities) and several players contribute assists.
