bet365 will be live in Kentucky right when online sports betting launches in the Bluegrass State. The world’s favorite sportsbook will enter its sixth U.S. state, joining New Jersey, Colorado, Iowa, Virginia and Ohio.

And one month ahead of that Sept. 28 launch, bet365 is offering users a way to lock in $365 in bonus bets, plus another $10 for every touchdown scored in Lions-Packers in NFL Week 3 (up to $50). That’s the Thursday Night Football game the day Kentucky sports betting launches.

What does the offer entail?

There are two parts to this offer:

  • Once you deposit $10 and bet $1, you’ll get $365 in bonus bets. This is the highest mark in the industry right now, at least as far as “bet get” offers go. Other offers promise $1,000, but they’re “first bet insurance” — that means your first bet must lose for it to kick in.
  • You’ll get $10 for every touchdown scored in Packers-Lions on Sept. 28, up to $50.

Last year, Detroit averaged 3.2 touchdowns per game while Green Bay topped 2.5. So we can expect around 4-5 TDs and an extra $40-$50 in bonus bets.

Bonus bets at bet365 work like most other sportsbooks. You keep any profit from a bonus bet wager, but you don’t keep the bonus itself. Say you placed a $10 bonus bet on Georgia Tech +200 against Louisville this weekend. If GT wins, you’ll profit $20 but you don’t keep the $10. If the Yellow Jackets lose, the $10 just goes away.
