BetMGM has forged a position as one of the top providers of online sports betting in the country. Customers are welcome to all sorts of betting lines and special deals, such as the ongoing welcome bonus.

Bettors are also encouraged to take advantage of the current offer before the NBA playoffs start since they can gain valuable experience and also stockpile prizes before those bets are due.

To qualify for the offer, customers must be at least 21 years old, in a state where the BetMGM promo code is available, and may not already have a BetMGM account. Full terms and conditions apply and can be found on the BetMGM sportsbook.

Taking advantage of the BetMGM promo code for $1,000 in prizes is simple, and you will know exactly how much prize money you’re eligible for as soon as you place your first bet.

The welcome bonus works by giving 100% refunds to customers who miss their first bet at BetMGM. So, if your first bet is for $500 and ends up off the mark, you will receive $500 in what are known as bet credits.

Bet credits are essentially vouchers with a native currency that have no cash value but can turn into cash with winning bets in any qualifying market on the BetMGM sportsbook. These credits cannot be transferred to other sportsbooks.

Credits earned during the welcome offer arrive within 24 hours and have 14 days to be redeemed before they become worthless.

The Mavs start the national TV schedule with a duel in the bayou against the Pelicans. Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving have struggled to fit in together, and although they both performed well against the Phoenix Suns over the weekend, they came up just short. Dallas’ defense is also still a mess which is a serious concern.

Even with the Mavericks’ struggles, the Pelicans are in a much worse spot. The once-Western Conference leaders are now ninth and losers of five of their last six with a lone win against the Portland Trail Blazers. Zion Williamson is out injured, and the team has shown no indication that they will turn the train around.

Luka has still been the main man ever since Irving’s arrival, so watch for him to have a strong night and steer his squad to a much-needed win. Betting the over on Doncic’s points+assists+rebounds total could be a strong play since he likely won’t have to drop 40 points for a win.

The second game on the ESPN schedule Wednesday pits the Clippers against the Raptors. Both teams pride themselves on defense, although LA has been far more fortuitous this campaign.

One of the biggest hindrances for the Raptors has been the subpar play of point guard Fred VanVleet. The former NBA Finals winner is shooting just 39% from the field and 34% from beyond the arc, both of which are career lows (excluding his rookie season).

The Clippers may also have a point guard problem and one that was self-inflicted. This is regarding Russell Westbrook, who they picked up after he was bought out by the Utah Jazz a couple of weeks ago. The team is just 1-5 with him in the lineup and has fallen from the fifth to the eighth seed.

This game could end up being closer than many are expecting. It is hard to pick the Clippers to lose, but depending on the size of the spread, the Raptors could be an interesting pick.
