2021

Rush Street Interactive kicks off the new year by launching BetRivers in Iowa. Later in January, BetRivers goes live in Michigan. The launch comes shortly after RSI announces a multi-year partnership with Michigan’s home state NBA team, the Detroit Pistons. January also sees the company launch its third new sportsbook for 2021 in Virginia. A launch in Arizona is expected in late 2021.

2020

RSI launches the BetRivers sportsbook in Colorado in May. The following month, BetRivers arrives in Illinois as the Prairie State’s first online sportsbook.

2019

The first BetRivers sportsbook goes live in Pennsylvania in June. This comes in the wake of RSI launching PlaySugarHouse in the Keystone State in May. Come October, the BetRivers sportsbook has also arrived in Indiana.

2018

Post-PASPA, RSI integrates its online sportsbook with its existing PlaySugarHouse online casino in New Jersey. In doing so, the company becomes the first US gaming operator to offer a combined online casino and sportsbook.
