Betting Line: Penn State opens as slight underdog vs Utah in Rose Bowl
Penn State will play Utah in the Rose Bowl on January 2. The Nittany Lions finished their regular season with four straight wins. Utah won the Pac-12 championship and is considered a slight betting underdog. This will be the first time that Penn State and Utah have met in a postseason game. Penn state last played in Rosebowl in 2016, losing to USC. It's the fifth Rose bowl appearance for Penn Staters. Utah has lost three straight bowl games. They lost to Ohio State, Texas and Northwestern. Their last postseason victory came in Heart of Dallas Bowl in 2017.
