Blue Grass: Art Collector Overtakes Filly Swiss Skydiver

Art Collector won the Toyota Blue Grass Stakes (G2) at Keeneland on Saturday. He earned 100 qualifying points to move onto the leaderboard at No. 4. Swiss Skydiver finished second and earned 40 points. She is already atop the Kentucky Oaks points leaderboards. The horse might go to the Alabama and wait for the Derby. The trainer Ken McPeek might also consider waiting for Kentucky Oaks. It's possible that SwissSkydivers will go for a Derby place. Rushie finished third and Enforceable was fourth. They earned 20 Derby qualifying and 10 points each.

Speech ($10) won the Ashland Stakes (G1) for 3-year-old fillies at 1 1/16 miles. She earned 100 Kentucky Derby Oaks ( G1), 160 Oaks points and is now No. 2 on the leaderboard. Venetian Harbor finished second, Envoutante third.

Guarana won the Madison Stakes (G1) by a half-length. It was trainer Chad Brown's 100th career Grade 1 victory.

Rushing Fall won by three-quarters of a length under Javier Castellano. The winning time for the 1 1/16 miles on the turf for fillies and mares 4 and up was a course record 1:39.02. Rushing fall has now won five Grade 1’s and improved her earnings to $2,278,000 with a record of 13-10-2-0.

Enola Gay won the Appalachian Stakes. Walk in Marrakesh finished second.

Leinster won by a head over stablemate Totally Boss in the 5-furlong turf race for 3-year-olds and up. Wildman Jack trailed from the start and finished last of 13 starters.

Monomoy Girl won the Ruffian Stakes (G2) at Belmont Park. It was the champion's first stakes win since 2018. Monomoy girl won allowance race at Churchill Downs on May 16. Florent Geroux rode her to 10 of her 11 wins. She is now 13-11-2-0 and has earned over $3 million.
