Blue Jays 11, Orioles 1: A beatdown for the Birds from Baltimore

The Orioles were beaten 11-1 by the Blue Jays in the opener of a four-game set at the Rogers Centre in Toronto on Monday night. Kyle Bradish couldn't get beyond the fifth inning and his performance was disappointing. Rico Garcia made his team debut and looked competent. Austin Voth was ineffective. The Orioles' offense was poor. The team had five hits, one walk, and 10 strikeouts. Logan Gillaspie was atrocious. He let both inherited runners score and then allowed four runs of his own. His third inning was bad. It took him 29 pitches to get through the first inning. They also had 5 hits and one strikeout.
