Bo Horvat on the trade block: What we’re hearing about the Canucks’ latest offer

The team is interested in a package including young players. The Athletic reports that the club is reluctant to take back money to facilitate a trade. It's likely that Hor Vat will be traded as a pure rental. He is also unlikely to get an extension. J.T. Miller got a 7-year contract extension in September. There are rumours that Vancouver will not grant permission to Hor vat's agent to discuss a possible extension with clubs interested.

Brock Boeser is on the trade block, but his contract is too expensive for rival clubs to fit in under the salary cap. Bekers agent is trying to find a deal for him. Since reports of his availability first surfaced 10 days ago, Bekaer's production has flatlined.

Luke Schenn is a pending unrestricted free agent. He's playing major minutes for the Canucks this season. Scenn's wife is pregnant. The Canucks want to keep him, but they will try to make him an offer when the free agency market opens on July 1. Bo Horvat is on the trade block.
