Nevada Wolf Pack are on a seven-game losing streak. They play Boise State Broncos this Saturday. Boise leads the all-time series 30-14. The last meeting was in 2021 in Boise, Idaho when Nevada won 41-31. Broncos are undefeated in Mountain West conference play and have their eyes set on winning their division.

Boise State plays the Cowboys before they play Nevada in Reno. Nevada has lost seven straight games to Boise State.

Nevada needs to win back to back games against Boise State to earn a chance to make up for previous three straight wins.

Shane Illingworth is Nevada's starting quarterback. Nevada scored second most points against a FBS opponent this season. Illedworth needs to play well against Boise State's defense to cement his place as the starting QB next season, as there are other scholarship QBs on the roster. Boise is ranked second in the Mountain West in pass defense and second overall in run defense.

Taylen Green took over as starting QB in late September. Green has completed 68 percent of his passes while throwing for 1,082 yards and six touchdowns. He has also ran for 272 yards, scored five rushing touchdowns and not thrown an interception in his last two starts. Nevada's defense will have to find a way to stop Green and force him to make mistakes.

Nevada lost to San Jose State last season. Coach Wilson believes that the team lacked the aggressive drive to make big plays late in close games. Nevada is a young team with very little experience. They are playing against a talented Boise State team that is in the picture for the Mountain West championship.
