Bayern were knocked out of the German Cup by third-tier side Saarbrücken in their last match, per the Guardian, and will be looking for a positive reaction against Dortmund.
Thomas Tuchel's side won their 11th straight Bundesliga title last season on the final day and have made a solid start to the season. They hammered Darmstadt 8-0 last weekend, with Harry Kane grabbing his second hat-trick of the season.
They have won seven of their first nine Bundesliga games this campaign. The good news for them is their incredible record against their arch-rivals.
Kane will be making his debut in the derby following his transfer to Bayern in August.
Dortmund have no major absentees, while Bayern will be without Joshua Kimmich, who is suspended after receiving a red card against Darmstadt. Matthijs De Ligt is also expected to miss out after sustaining a knee injury on Wednesday. Another centre-back back, Dayot Upamecano, has been recovering from injury, so he will probably miss out too.
