Bothroyd believes Japan are favourites to beat Croatia in the World Cup Round of 16. He spent six years in Japan playing for Jubilo Iwata and Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo. Japan beat Spain 2-1 in a dramatic game. They play Croatia on November 5. Bothroyds believes the next game will be even more difficult because of the expectations. Japan have already shocked the world with their two come-from-behind victories against Germany and Spain.
