The Quezette Stakes (1100m) has gone to $34 chance Bound For Home. Jockey Declan Bates gave the Archie Alexander-trained filly a perfect ride in the Caulfield feature.
Archie Alexander's horse won the Quezette Stakes. He had hoped it would be a weak Group 3 before some of the better fillies resumed. Now he thinks his horse is one of them. The next target is the Atlantic Jewel Stake on September 3 at Moonee Valley.
