After being beaten 4-0 by Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday, Bournemouth sit 12th in the top-flight table, nine points clear of the relegation zone. It’s been a positive first half of the campaign for Andoni Iraola in his first season in England and after seeing off QPR 3-2 in the third round, he will be hoping his side can ensure their name is in the hat for fifth round by beating Swansea.

Swansea look set for a mid-table finish in the Championship this season and currently find themselves 16th in the second-tier standings. The Swans were beaten 3-1 by highflyers Southampton on their most recent league outing last weekend and will be hopeful of a good cup run to give their fans something to cheer.

Team News

The hosts have several players on the treatment table including Max Aarons, Adam Smith, Tyler Adams, Ryan Fredericks and Milos Kerkez. Antonie Semenyo and Dango Ouattara are away on international duty. Swansea boss Luke Williams will be without Sam Parker, Liam Walsh, Josh Ginnelly, while Ben Cabango is doubtful.

Bournemouth vs Swansea Tips

The first selection we have taken a lean towards on Thursday is both teams to score at 10/11 with several betting sites including bet365. With both teams destined for mid table finishes in the league this season the FA Cup provides a chance to go deep into the competition and we expect a rather open game here.

Iraola has instilled a refreshing attacking style of play on the South Coast and his side have found the net in all their last 14 matches across all competitions. You have to go all the way back to October 7th for the last time The Cherries failed to score in a match, and we don’t see that run ending here.

No team in the Championship has seen a higher percentage of their matches this season feature both teams scoring than Swansea. In total, 71% of the Welsh club's league outings have featured BTTS and with this in mind, we are surprised to see 10/11 on offer for a repeat in this FA Cup clash.

Swansea to Win & BTTS

Looking at the match prices for this clash and we think Bournemouth are incredibly short at just 2/7 to win in 90 minutes. The visitors are priced all the way out at 9/1, however we are taking them to win the game with both teams scoring at 16/1 with BetVictor.

Bournemouth will rotate their pack for this Cup game, and we are expecting Swansea to go off a little shorter once team news is announced. We’ve already spoken about how fruitful for the Swans have been for BTTS backers this season and with the market overlooking them slightly here, the value looks to lie with backing the away side.
