British Champions Day: Ultimate guide to Saturday's Ascot meeting

British Champions Day at Ascot is set to bring the curtain down on the core Flat season on Saturday.

A whole host of rising stars and old favourites are set to feature as there are six rip-roaring renewals on the card including four Group 1s.

Bay Bridge bids to defend his Champion Stakes crown in the most lucrative contest of the afternoon, Paddington attempts to put the cherry on his incredible campaign with victory in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, Kinross goes for consecutive victories in the British Champion Sprint Stakes, while the British Champions Fillies & Mares Stakes looks wide open.

The afternoon kicks off with Kyprios and Trueshan clashing for the first time this season in the British Champions Long Distance Cup and ends with Royal Ascot winner Docklands trying to land another C&D success in the Balmoral Handicap.

It gets even better as our fearless leader is giving away a completely free bet to spend on any race at Ascot on British Champions Day. Cheers, Paddy!
